Evolution Consulting LLC (EVOCON) is a private investigation company that has been in business for 30 years to provide dedicated background check (BGC) services nationwide to clients in industries that include healthcare, transportation, financial, staffing, and other industries. We are a licensed investigative firm that employs a team of 50+ investigators who perform live investigations for our background check clients. Our sister company, OIG Compliance NOW, LLC (OIGCN), offers comprehensive sanction screening services for healthcare Providers nationwide for identifying individuals/entities that have been excluded from participation in federal Medical Assistance Programs. Evolution Consulting, LLC first opened operations in 1993 as one of the first drug testing firms supporting local clients in Binghamton NY. As companies began to implement more vigorous vetting procedures Evolution Consulting, LLC began to offer background check investigations. Our thorough investigation process, quick turnaround times, responsive customer service, and accurate reporting became popular for clients across the nation.   Â
In 2011, OIG Compliance NOW, LLC was incorporated in Binghamton NY. OIG Compliance NOW, LLC is the partner of choice for both small and large hospitals, health systems, health plans, government agencies, and educational institutions in providing sanction screening and investigation services. We screen and investigate thousands of records per month of all record types. We also provide screening services for Opt-Outs, Death Master File, NPPES, and state-level professional license disciplinary actions, as well as conduct primary source verification services for health plans and health systems.
In 2017, our corporate office, Evolution Consulting South, LLC was incorporated in Sarasota, FL. This strategic move allowed us to source an additional candidate pool of Investigators, maintain our values in customer service, and expand our drug and alcohol testing footprint.
Today, all three offices serve a large client base in healthcare, Department of Transportation, Senior Living homes, Group Purchasing Organizations, and any client that values due diligence as a high priority in hiring procedures.

In response to the Patriot Act it is required by law that all businesses screen applicants against OFAC. We strictly adhere to all EEOC, OFAC, and FCRA guidelines.
Our Healthcare background checks are completed using federal and state guidelines to ensure compliance. Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) guidelines which include OIG Medicare/Medicaid Fraud Report are used for compliance for all healthcare background check investigations. The United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) excludes individuals listed in the Sanction database from working in Medicare, Medicaid and other healthcare programs. Evolution Consulting, LLC, searches the Cumulative Sanction Report and Debarred Contractors List from the General Services Administration. Our search continues to the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Bank of England Terrorist list and Canadian Office of the Superintendent of Institutions list (OSFI). The list contains names of foreign nationals (individuals and entities) that the U.S. government currently has sanctions against; individuals on the list include known terrorists and international narcotics traffickers and those engaged in activities related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
