We are enrolled with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration as an Industry Service Provider to access commercial drivers’ safety records. We provide the exact report as pulled from the FMCSA. The report contains a driver’s most recent five years of crash data and the most recent three years of roadside inspection data. Additional information provided on the PSP report may include the motor carrier for which the driver was operating for at the time of the crash or inspection, the location and date that a crash or inspection occurred, injuries, fatalities, and towaways, and if the vehicle was placed out of service. Â
A Safety Verification Check will provide details about a driver’s safety performance history. Candidates will have the opportunity to disclose all previous CDL employment history during the application process and sign a consent form. Our Investigators will contact previous employers and send a convenient fillable form for employers to complete and sign. Information verified will include:Â
Evolution Consulting LLC, is a Service Agent with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, acting on behalf of our clients. We can pull limited and full queries from the FMCSA to determine if a current or prospective driver had tested positive for drugs or alcohol in violation of FMCSA’s drug and alcohol testing program. Drivers will need to sign an electronic written disclosure, which will be provided through a secure URL. If driver’s refuse to sign consent, we will contact our client immediately as this will result in a non-hire.
This check includes validation of license, status, and expiration date. Accidents and violations on record are also provided. This check is done through state of license issuance and usually includes three to five years of history depending on state. This service can be set up at the time of hire or on a scheduled basis to check the driver’s license record at regular intervals.
